DENVER (AP) — A federal judge has ordered a Colorado man to be transferred to New York City to face charges he was planning a massive terror attack possibly involving hydrogen peroxide bombs on commuter trains.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Craig Shaffer ordered Najibullah Zazi (nah-jee-BOO'-lah ZAH'-zee) held without bail pending his transfer to New York, where a federal grand jury indicted him on charges of conspiracy to use weapons of mass destruction.

The charges carry a possible life sentence upon conviction.

The indictment says Zazi received explosives training from al-Qaida and bought large quantities of hydrogen peroxide and nail-polish remover at beauty supply stores to make bombs.
