Woman dies in fatal crash

A South Carolina woman is dead after a one-vehicle crash.

The victim has been identified as 42-year-old Tracey Poteat of Ridgeway.

Highway Patrol from that state says Poteat was speeding Friday on Interstate 90 when she lost control of her SUV.

She died at the scene.  The passenger was taken to a nearby hospital, where the person was treated.

The accident remains under investigation.
