For more than 200-years, football has been a proud tradition at USC. Gamecocks greats have molded the program into what it is today. Men who not only fought on the gridiron, but fought in World War II as well.

Lou Sossamon and Dom Fusci are two of those living legends. Both men are in the South Carolina and USC Hall of Fames. They played together during the 1940's.

Sossaman was named a second team All-American, and played center and linebacker. Fusci played tackled and lineman. Fusci jokes the reason Sossamon is an All-American is because he knocked everyone out of the way for him.

The men have remained friends now for more than 60 years.
