This weekend was a chance for those throughout the Midlands to honor a young man.  All while giving back to a worthy cause.

On Saturday folks from all around came together at the M.L. Smith Community Center on Farrow Road.  The event was in honor of Brandon Byrd, a 20-year-old, who died two years ago in a car accident.  Brandon was an avid reader and loved the library.  In an effort to raise money for the Richland County Public Library, a fashion and talent show was held.

The money raised will be donated in honor of Brandon.
