CHARLESTON, SC (AP) -- A South Carolina pastor has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for fondling two boys.
The Post and Courier of Charleston reported Thursday that 42-year-old Tyrone Moore of Full Word Ministries in North Charleston has been convicted on two counts of committing a lewd act upon a minor. A jury found Moore guilty of fondling the boys multiple times between 2004 and 2006. The victims were ages 12 and 13 at the time.
Authorities say Moore is under investigation involving eight other cases between 2002 and 2006.
He is on the state's sex offender registry for a 1991 conviction on two counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a child between ages 11 and 14. He also was convicted in 1989 of committing a lewd act on a child under 16.
