HAMPTON COUNTY, SC -- The Hampton County Sheriff's Office confiscated 128 marijuana plants during a drug bust Tuesday afternoon.
The office announced Wednesday that they worked with the state drug eradication team to find and seize the plants.
The estimated value of the marijuana found Tuesday was around $256,000. No one was arrested during the confiscation.
“This is yet another step towards eradication of illegal drugs in Hampton County,” Hampton County Sheriff T.C. Smalls said in a press release. “We will not tolerate illegal drugs in the county and we will find them.”
The office reported the plants were destroyed immediately after confiscation.
