CHAPIN, SC -- Chapin Police are asking for your help in finding a cigarette bandit.

Chief Dave Rogers says back on June 11 at 4:20 AM, a man threw a brick into the BP Corner Pantry at the corner of I-26 and Columbia Avenue.  The man reportedly jumped the counter and stole a large number of Newport cigarettes.

Investigators are suspecting the same man also broke into the same store a week later on June 18 at 11:15 PM right near closing time.  Chief Rogers said the man did the same thing breaking into the store and stealing a large number of cigarettes.
