GREENVILLE, SC (AP) -- A South Carolina man charged with murder after police say he lost control of his speeding Maserati, plowing into a house and killing a man, is free on bond again.
The judge who revoked 36-year-old John Ludwig Junior's bond earlier this week after Ludwig wrote on his release papers decided Friday that three days in jail was enough punishment and reinstated the $300,000 bond.
Ludwig walked out of the Greenville County jail a short time later.
Ludwig was sent back to jail Tuesday after he wrote "no electronic monitoring" and "no porch arrest" on his release papers. He says he was only trying to clarify the terms of his release.
Authorities say Ludwig was driving over 85 mph on April 25th when he lost control. Ludwig's attorney says he swerved to miss deer.
