(AP) -- MARINE CORPS AIR STATION BEAUFORT, S.C. (AP) -- Another case of swine flu has been confirmed in South Carolina, but this time at a military base.

Officials at the Marine Corps Air Station in Beaufort said Friday that an active duty service member who recently returned from training on the West Coast has the illness. They said the Marine has been isolated but is recovering.

Base spokesman 1st Lt. Josiah Nicely said the Marine will remain in quarantine until at least Sunday.

South Carolina health officials said 29 confirmed cases of swine flu have been reported in the state, including 24 linked to a private school in Newberry. Some students at Newberry Academy had just returned from a trip to Mexico.
