LEXINGTON, SC -- (WACH) Two men walking away from a 1988 Honda Civic sedan that broke down on Interstate 26 near the interchange with U.S. 378 near West Columbia were arrested By Lexington County Sheriff's Deputies late Wednesday. The Honda Civic was reported stolen to the Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, May 5.
The men are identified as David Anthony McPherson, 18, of Noon Ham Drive, Columbia, and Robert Ellis Page, 19, of Paces Brook, Columbia. McPherson was arrested on a charge of possessing a stolen motor vehicle. Page was arrested on charges of possessing marijuana and possessing a controlled substance. McPherson and Page were being held on Thursday, May 7 at the Lexington County Detention Center while awaiting bond hearings.
