(AP) -- REMBERT, S.C. (AP) -- South Carolina prison officials say a minimum security inmate has walked away from his work assignment.
Prisons spokesman Josh Gelinas says 38-year-old Tracy Cobb was last seen Wednesday afternoon working on the tractor detail at Wateree River Correctional Institution in Sumter County.
Cobb is a white male, 5-foot-8, 160 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He has the name "Christie" tattooed on his neck.
Cobb has been serving a three-year sentence for manufacturing and distributing methamphetamine from Cherokee County since November.
The Wateree River Correctional Institution has a 7,000-acre farm on its land that provides milk, corn and other food to the prison system.
