NEWBERRY, SC -- Newberry Police have arrested one of the three men who burglarized an apartment at 144 Nance Forest Apartments.
The men forcefully entered the apartment while armed with handguns; then assaulted an occupant inside the apartment and pointed guns at other occupants, before fleeing the area.
The incident occurred on April 30, 2009 around 9pm. Police did not report what was taken from the apartment.
The three assailants have been identified as James Tyrell Bookman, James Corey Pitts, and Levar Devall Johnson.
Levar Devall Johnson has been arrested and in currently in custody.
While a variety of charges are pending, all three males are currently wanted for First Degree Burglary.
