BOSTON, MA (AP) -- An unruly Israeli passenger accused of rushing the cockpit and forcing the diversion of a flight to Israel faces arraignment Monday.

Massachusetts State Police Lt. Eric Anderson says 22-year-old Itay Atmor faces a charge of interfering with a flight crew.

He failed to make bail and remains in custody.

Officials at Logan Airport say Atmor rushed the cockpit on Delta Air Lines Flight 86 and pounded on the door.

Passengers and crew helped subdued Atmor and he was arrested after the plane landed on Friday.

The flight from New York to Tel Aviv had 206 passengers and 11 crew members on board.
