CHICAGO (AP) -- After embracing his celebrity status and promoting a reality TV show in Los Angeles, ousted Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich (blah-GOY'-uh-vich) is back in Chicago.
That's according to Blagojevich publicist Glenn Selig (SEE'-lig) on Saturday.
Blagojevich was in California filming a promotional spot and interviews for the NBC reality series "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!"
Last week, a judge barred Blagojevich -- who faces federal corruption charges -- from leaving the country to film the show set in the Costa Rican jungle.
Blagojevich has said he still wants to be involved in the show but will heed the judge's decision.
Blagojevich has pleaded not guilty to corruption charges, including allegations he tried to profit from filling President Barack Obama's former U.S. Senate Seat.
