BEAUFORT, S.C. (AP) -- The bodies of two Vietnam War veterans have been buried in a cemetery in South Carolina after no family members claimed the remains a month after they died.

The Beaufort Gazette reported that more than 50 people attended a memorial for Army Lt. Terry Marshall Luse and Airman John G. Federspiel. They were buried with full military honors at Beaufort National Cemetery on Thursday.

Both men died last month at the Charleston Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

Luse, a Waco, Texas-native, died at age 64 on March 17. Federspiel died March 29 at age 63. No information on Federspiel's birthplace was available.
