LONDON, ENGLAND (AP) -- Police investigating an alleged terrorist plot to attack Britain say they have been granted more time to question suspects.
Greater Manchester Police say a court has approved the further detention of 4 men arrested in raids on April 8.
A judge had previously granted a police request to continue to detain 7 other suspects held in the raids across northwest England.
Officers can question the men for five days under the ruling.
Most of the men are from Pakistan.
Police have given no information about the alleged plan described by Prime Minister Gordon Brown as "a very big terrorist plot."
Judges can authorize police to hold terror suspects for up to 28 days before they must be charged or released.
