Mother arrested for not paying $21,000 in child support

37-year-old Catherine Jeffery was arrested Thursday for not paying child support.

Lexington County deputies arrested 37-year-old Catherine Jeffery for not paying child support payments.

Deputies say Jeffery owed more than $21,000.

Officers found Jeffery at her Mack Street residence Thursday and arrested her without incident.

She is currently being held at the Lexington County detention center awaiting a hearing in family court.
