Doris Ruys has passed the intersection of Killian Road and Wilson Boulevard for three years; in that time she's seen her fair share of accidents.
"It's just very dangerous. I saw this car that I have never seen a car look like that before," said Ruys.
After seen the latest accident, Ruys called WACH FOX NEWS for help.
"I don't know another residential subdivision where you can go 55 miles an hour," said Ruys.
WACH FOX NEWS drove the road. From Blythewood to the intersection, you pass not one, not two but three school bus stops.
You drive 2.8 miles with the speed limit at 55 miles an hour before dropping to 45 miles an hour and approach the intersection in question.
After sitting at the intersection for an hour, WACH FOX NEWS clocked the drivers with a radar gun.
We clocked 60 cars and most of them stayed five miles over the limit.
So what are the requirements to have the speed changed or a light put up?
Ed Sawyer with the South Carolina Department of Transportation explains.
"Anytime someone wants to request a speed be changed, they can contact our local SCDOT maintenence office or they can contact our district office by phone or by letter.
Once you contact DOT, Sawyer says it could take 30 days before an engineer comes to check the road.
Engineers will then do a speed survey with radar or tube count.
They also take into consideration road conditions and recent development in the area.
