Student dies after run

NORTH AUGUSTA -- A student at North Augusta Middle School collapsed during a physical education class and was transported to Medical College of Georgia Children's Hospital.

14 year old James C. Fox was pronounced dead at 10:56 am.

According to witness' Mr. Fox had completed a 200 yard slow run, when he collapsed near his teacher.

Mr. Fox was taken to MCG where lifesaving measures were continued for over fifty minutes.

There are no suspicious circumstances at this time.
