One person dead after Lee County accident

LEE COUNTY -- A person is dead after an accident Saturday evening.

Investigators say the driver was going South on McKnight Street near Bishopville around 6 PM when the 2004 Chevy pick-up truck went off the road and hit a tree.

According to investigators, the driver wasn’t wearing a seatbelt.
