Praisefest kicks off Youth Violence Prevention Week

COLUMBIA, SC -- The City of Columbia kicked off the 6^th Annual Youth Violence Prevention Week Sunday with Praisefest for Peace at Finlay Park.

This free event featured local community organizations participating in song, dance, and fellowship.

The National Youth Violence Prevention Campaign is serving to open the doors of communication between youth and adults and help build awareness of youth violence.
