Improving South Carolina's poverty issues

A local group is working to improve poverty issues throughout South Carolina.

165 people attended the "Midlands Focused on Poverty" seminar, on Monday. The two-day class offers tips, strategies and resources for working with children and parents of poverty. Organizers say the seminar can make a difference.

The seminar contines on Tuesday, March 17th.
