Man Stabbed with Pitchfork

Lexington County Deputies responded to an assault on South Main Street Monday evening at 6pm.  Deputies noticed victim, Mr. David Onley on his back and bleeding from his head.  Mr Onley told deputies he had een hit in the had with a pitch fork by another individual, Mr. Wayne Harley.  After speaking with 2 witnesses who provided written statements, the sheriff's department  determined that the victim Mr Onley may have provoked Mr. Harley by chasing him around the park.  In self defense, Mr. Harley picked up the pitchfork and struck Mr. Onley with it.  Mr. Harley will not be charged for this incident.
