COLUMBIA, SC (AP) -- Progressives from South Carolina are getting ready for their spring meeting.
Members of the South Carolina Progressive Network are gathering in Columbia on Saturday for a full day of workshops, discussions and networking.
All sessions at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church are free and open to the public. Topics include election reform, early voting and universal broadband service.
The group holds two gatherings a year. Network director Brett Bursey says the spring meeting is a good opportunity for non-Network members to learn about their group.
