Spring Valley Wins Girls 4-A Title

COLUMBIA, SC -- Columbia, S.C. - The Spring Valley Lady Vikings won their first state title since 1978 tonight beating Orangeburg-Wilkinson 53-22.  Led by Briana Robinson with 20 points, the Lady Vikings looked in control of the game right from the beginning. 

Asia Dozier, daughter of former USC great and current Spring Valley boys head coach Perry Dozier, added 13 points to the winning effort.

Coach Anne Long won her first title with the Vikings in her first season as head coach, and her fifth title overall.

Orangeburg-Wilkinson was led by Erika Sumpter with 12 points.
