10 year-old Gayolord Roberts was shot by his brother in the face.
COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- The grandmother of a South Carolina family dealing with the death of a 10-year-old boy and the arrest of his 13-year-old brother on a murder charge says they are all heartbroken over the shooting.
Mary Lou Eddins says the family is tight-knit and disturbed by police accounts that they aren't showing any remorse over the death of Gayloyd Roberts.
Kershaw County deputies say Roberts' 13-year-old brother shot him in the face with a shotgun Monday afternoon in a bedroom of their Cassatt home after they argued over where to sit to watch TV.
Eddins says the boys' parents are in shock because they haven't gotten to talk to the teen in jail or their three other children, who were taken into protective custody.
Eddins says the family isn't sure what happened at the home.
