The City of Columbia is repairing a leak on a 30” water line that will affect water services to the 4200 Block of Highland Park Drive. The repairs began at 9:00 a.m. and will result in a loss of water service for approximately 12 hours. Once water services is restored, you are advised to vigorously boil your water for at least one (1) full minute prior to drinking or cooking until otherwise notified by the City of Columbia Water Works. Ice made from water that has not been boiled should not be used for drinking purposes.
In addition to water service interruption, some residences may also experience traffic and/or driveway obstruction.
