In Richland County, investigators say a man attempted to rob a local store early Sunday morning.  The attempted robbery, happened at Rick's Party Shop on Bluff Road around 4:00 a.m.  Investigators say a man walked into the store, shot one round in the air and left without getting anything.  Deputies think the gunman escaped on foot.
