WEST COLUMBIA, SC (AP) -- The American Cancer Society is offering black men free health information.

The organization is sponsoring its first African American Men's Health Forum on Saturday at Brookland Baptist Church in West Columbia.

Men can get information and participate in sessions on a variety of health issues, including cancer, diabetes and heart health, for free.

Several speakers, including cancer survivors and doctors, will be on hand to answer questions and also talk about nutrition and exercise.

Onsite health checks for HIV/AIDS, diabetes, cholesterol and flu vaccines will also be available.
