COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- A 6-year-old South Carolina girl was recovering after being attacked by several dogs as she walked home after getting off a school bus.  Kenyea Smith of Dalzell was in serious but stable condition at Palmetto Health Richland hospital. Sumter County Sheriff's Maj. Hampton Gardner told The State newspaper Wednesday she is expected to make a full recovery.  Gardner said five of the six dogs that attacked the girl Monday were found and two were shot because they acted "aggressively." The other dogs were turned over to the Department of Health and Environmental Control for rabies testing.  Fifty-five-year-old Geraldine Knox of Dalzell has been charged with allowing vicious animals to run at large. Gardner said Knox didn't say she owned the dogs but did say she had fed them.
