Trial resumes for man accused in Wendy's shooting

The trial for 27 year old John Portee will continue Wednesday. 

Portee is accused of killing his two co-workers at a fast food restaurant was in September 2006.

Prosecutors say Portee was scheduled to open the store with two women, but instead of working that day, he shot and killed Carlaus Johnson and Latora Bolton.

Portee was scheduled to open the store with Johnson and Bolton that morning.

Portee allegedly shot both women in the back office and got away with $1,600.

Portee’s public defender Ashley Thomas says Portee is being wrongfully targeted by investigators.
