CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- The co-defendant of former South Carolina Treasurer Thomas Ravenel has been released from a federal prison in Florida. Federal officials told The Post and Courier of Charleston that 27-year-old Michael Miller was released Monday from the Coleman Federal Correctional Complex. He began his prison term for one count of conspiracy with intent to distribute cocaine in May. Ravenel faced a similar 10-month sentence and was released to a halfway house last month. Authorities say Miller supplied drugs for Ravenel, who shared them with others.
