Richland County deputies are investigating an overnight shooting.

Saturday morning, deputies responded to Palmetto Health Richland Hospital.

The victim stated he had been shot in the lower body at Studio 54.

He said he had been shot during an altercation.

Deputies searched inside and outside the nightclub but were not able to establish a crime scene.

The case remains under investigation.
