Columbia police are looking for two suspects who held a child at gunpoint and stole Christmas presents from his Gervais Street home.

Investigators say that around 7 a.m. Thursday, two black male suspects approached a 8-year-old who had just left his house on Gervais Street, forced him back into the house and demanded that he, and two other victims, lie on the floor. One suspect stayed with the victims while the other searched the home.

The suspects got away with several items, including the 8-year-old’s Christmas gifts. The child's mother tells WACH FOX News, he was so traumatized by the experience, he has to stay at a relative's house.

The suspects are between the ages of 18 and 24, around 5-feet-11-inches tall and about 150 pounds. They were wearing dark-colored hoodies, blue jeans and white shoes.

If you have any information that could help investigators find these suspects, call CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC or Columbia Police at 803-545-3500.
