GAFFNEY, S.C. (AP) -- Authorities say the car of a 77-year-old Asheville, N.C., woman missing for two months has been found in the Broad River near Gaffney.
The Herald-Journal of Spartanburg reports that workers doing maintenance near a boat landing found Tecora Young's car Monday morning.
A body was inside, and Cherokee County Coroner Dennis Fowler has ordered an autopsy to determine the identity.
Young was in the area at a party for her aunt. Cousin Annie Houey says Young was familiar with the roads around the boat landing, but did not like to drive at night.
