A Columbia woman was stabbed early Monday morning and she thinks it was by someone she's seen before.
Nina Hannan was stabbed in the backyard of her Fore Avenue home just before 3 a.m. A similar, but unrelated stabbing was reported in the same neighborhood over a week ago.
"Who the hell are you and what the hell do you want," said Hannan.
Hannan remembers the day she first saw her attacker.
It was a few weeks ago and the man came through her front door.
"Just stay calm. Don't scream. Don't panic. My mother always said that if you panic you die," said Hannan.
That particular day, the man did not take anything from the home, but left with some choice words, saying "Don't worry, I'll be back."
And Monday morning, he was back.
Hannan woke up to take the dogs out. She opened the back door and saw a shadow... a shadow she thought was another dog.
"I noticed it wasn't a dog, it was a guy," said Hannan.
The guy, wearing a hooded sweatshirt, came from behind the shadow and stabbed Hannan in the stomach.
"Just hurting really bad and still bleeding quite a bit," said Hannan.
Hannan hopes by telling her story justice will be served to a man whose caused her and her family a lot of pain. She is expected to be OK, though she may need surgery.
