COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- Authorities have brought additional charges against a former school administrator accused of having sexual contact with students more than 30 years ago.
Aiken County officials said on Tuesday that 67-year-old Stephen Eubanks now is charged with two counts each of second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor, lewd act upon a child under 16 and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Eubanks is also charged with kidnapping, engaging a child for sexual performance and enticing an enrolled child from school. He was arrested last month after authorities accused him of having sex with a 16-year-old girl and attempting to have sex with a 14-year-old male student between 1975 and 1977.
The public defender's office said it represented Eubanks, who is in the county jail awaiting a bond hearing.
