Lexington authorities need help identifying a man who robbed a West Columbia check cashing service Thursday afternoon.
Authorities say that around 12:20 p.m., the suspect, a 6-foot tall, dark-skinned black man wearing a multi-colored cap, sunglasses, a white T-shirt and black baggy jeans, walked into the Check N Go on Sunset Boulevard.
Authorities say he pulled out a gun, went behind a counter and forced the teller to open to cash drawers. He took an undisclosed amount of money and was able to get away on foot.
