Richland County deputies say a man took his roommate's car without asking, then used the car to commit several burglaries in the Blythewood area.

Authorities say that on October 2, 21-year-old Christopher Wallace took his roommate’s car without his knowledge. On the same morning, authorities say several burglaries in the Crescent Lake subdivision and Longcreek Plantation took place.

The roommate's car was later found. It had been abandoned in the areas that were burglarized.

Deputies found some of the reported stolen items in the car, including laptop computers and a digital computer.

If you have any information about these burglaries or concerning Wallace's whereabouts, call CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC. Your tip could earn you a cash reward.
