COLUMBIA (WACH) - The South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles presented the first back-to-back Gamecock Baseball National Championship state license tag on Thursday.

The first plate went to head baseball coach Chad Holbrook.

An unveiling ceremony was held for the new tags before the Gamecocks opening game last Friday.

The tags went on sale Tuesday. They're offered to fans by My Carolina Alumni Association and the University of South Carolina Athletics Department. Each tag costs $70 in addition to regular registration fees and is payable every two years.
