COLUMBIA (WACH - An annual concert series returns to the Midlands featuring the "Empress of Soul."
Ten time Grammy award winning vocalist, Gladys Knight will headline the Auntie Karen Foundation 10th annual Legends of Concert at the Koger Center for the Arts, Friday, February 22 at 8 p.m.
Knight will also present a Master Class for local students at C.A. Johnson Preparatory Academy.
The class is designed for students from elementary school to college. Students can attend the class with the help of sponsorships.
Proceeds from the concert will benefit the programs of the Auntie Karen Foundation which creates and implements a series of reproducible community outreach programs designed to empower, enlighten and educate through the arts.
