COLUMBIA (WACH) -- There is finally some relief for people feeling the pain at the pump.
On Thursday, folks will have a shot at filling up for free gas.
More than two dozen credit unions are teaming up to offer free gas fill-ups.
It's part of the MADTAG program, a campaign to highlight good deeds throughout the community while paying it forward.
"Especially now the summer blend is making the gas go up, so i think it will be a lot of fun for a lot of people the surprise factor is just amazing just amazing," said Helen Powell Beam of Carolina Collegiate Credit Union.
MADTAG will announce where you can get the free gas this week on its twitter and facebook pages.
