CHESTER, S.C. (AP) -- Investigators say a 17-year-old man was part of a plot to attack his grandmother in their Chester home.

Authorities say 59-year-old Jimmie Paul was shot and killed around 6:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Chester County deputies say Paul's grandson, Clayton Watts, and a second man, 18-year-old Marquaes Buchanan have been arrested and charged with murder.

Investigators say the pair planned the attack, but are releasing few other details, including why Paul was targeted. Deputies say more arrests are expected. It wasn't known if the suspects had attorneys.

Authorities say Paul's husband was working in a shed behind the home when his wife was killed and found her body.

Friends of the family say Watts lived in the home with his grandparents.
