SUMMERVILLE, SC (WACH) - A suspect in a January 15 bank robbery in West Columbia may have struck again in Summerville.

Summerville Police Captain Jon Rogers said that at about 2:50 pm Monday, the First Citizens Bank at 1319 North Main Street in Summerville was robbed.

Rogers said a white male entered the bank and demanded money with no weapons being displayed. The suspect left with an undetermined amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a white male between 30- 40 years old, weighing approximately 250 pounds, and is approximately 6 feet tall.

One customer was inside the bank at the time of the robbery in Summerville and no injuries were reported.

West Columbia Police Captain Seth Ziegler said the West Columbia P.D. is letting Summerville P.D. work the investigation for now.
