ST. LOUIS (AP) -- St. Louis-based Roberts Cos. is selling a TV station in Mississippi, one of many assets the financially-troubled company has on the market.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that a bankruptcy judge on Thursday approved the sale of WRBJ in Jackson, Miss., to Trinity Broadcasting Network, a nonprofit religious corporation.

Roberts Cos. is led by St. Louis brothers Michael and Steven Roberts. Its broadcasting arm, Roberts Broadcasting, filed for bankruptcy in October 2011. The firm also owns WRBU in St. Louis, WZRB in Columbia, S.C., and WAZE in Evansville, Ind.

Roberts Cos. is seeking to sell assets that include six hotels outside of St. Louis in an effort to settle a $34 million lawsuit filed last year by Bank of America.
