BAMBERG COUNTY, SC (WACH) -- One person is dead after a single vehicle accident.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol says the accident happened around 6:50 p.m. Saturday on Voorhees Rd. Authorities say the driver was driving westbound in a 2001 Chevy when the driver turned off and lost control; flipping several times. That person has not been identified yet by the Bamberg Co. Coroner.
Authorities say a passenger, Debane Champion, 26, was also in the car but was not injured. The SCHP say both drivers were wearing a seatbelt.
The incident remains under investigation.
