MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (AP) -- Google says it will double its investment in Berkeley County.

The Internet giant is holding a news conference in Moncks Corner on Friday to announce it will invest another $600 million in its operations.

There was no immediate word on the number of additional jobs that might be created.

Google employs about 150 people at its two server farms in operation in Berkeley County now.

Gov. Nikki Haley and local elected officials and company officials are meeting with reporters.

The company opened its $600 million data center five years ago. The second server farm recently became operational.
