COLUMBIA (WACH) - Two Midlands high school musicians will march in the 2013 Discover BCS National Championship game halftime show Monday night.

According to Richland School District Two, Spring Valley High School senior trombonists Jonathan Lee and Darren Woodland were selected through an individual audition process to play in the All Star Invitational Marching Band with the Miami Sound Machine in front of nearly 80,000 fans.

District officials say the All Star Invitational Marching Band brings together the most talented high school marching band performers.

The national championship game, featuring Alabama and Notre Dame, kicks off at 8:30 p.m. on ESPN.
