COLUMBIA (WACH / AP) -- A fire has destroyed two buildings at a prison near Columbia.

No one was hurt.

One structure was a barn that stores farm equipment and the second structure was a one story office building off of Broad River Road in Columbia.

The call came in at approximately 7:15 p.m. Sunday night, according to Brick Lewis of the Columbia Fire Department.

Columbia Fire Department, Irmo Fire Department, Richland County EMS, and the South Carolina Department of Corrections all responded to the scene.

More than 30 firefighters and eight fire engines from Columbia and Irmo responded to the fire..

Walden is a minimum security prison at a large prison complex outside Columbia.

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division will be investigating this incident.
