COLUMBIA (WACH) - Fort Jackson National Cemetery packed with people honoring those who serve and those who  have given their lives for our country Saturday.

The day was a special time for loved ones getting the chance to place wreaths on the headstones of those lost.

"I do this because I just want to remember him and all of the soldiers who gave their time; who served the military," said military widow Joyce Dudley. "He gave many hours while he was in, and I come about once a month. I don't come everyday  like I used to, and I have many friends out here now as well."
